Aniela Bornstein Coates - President
My name is Aniela Bornstein and I am the president of SBI for the 2024-2025 school year! I am a senior this year and will graduate with a B.S. in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. My favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bears, and Arsenal! My dream career will be to work within a sports organization as the general manager or president of operations. I am most excited to continue to grow SBI and help students find their path in the sports industry! We have some exciting events and opportunities that we cannot wait to share with students!
Allie Piscopo - Vice President
My name is Allie Piscopo and I am honored to serve as the Executive Vice President of SBI for the 2024-2025 school year! I am a sophomore, and am currently working towards my B.S. in Business Marketing. Following this, I intend on attending law school and ultimately pursuing a career in Sports Agency! Growing up in Southern California, the San Diego Padres have held a special place in my heart. Additionally, I love watching both collegiate and professional football! Sports have always been a crucial part of my life, from playing them to watching them and I have been eager to find a way to integrate that into my future career and endeavors as well as continue to build opportunities for others to pursue sports as well!
Adam Graziani - vp finance
My name is Adam Graziani, and I am delighted to serve as the Vice President of Finance for the 2024-2025 Semester at SBI. I am a transfer student to the university and currently a Junior majoring in Political Science. I decided to switch from pursuing a career as a lawyer to pursuing one in the sports industry. Coming from Santa Rosa, California, I hold a deep affection for my San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks, and Golden State Warriors. My ultimate aspiration is to work within one of my favorite team's organizations or for a league, particularly the NFL, NBA, or NHL. I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to inspire others and forge connections within the sports industry.
Jocelyn Pallan - vp marketing
My name is Jocelyn Pallan and I am thrilled to be the Vice President of Marketing for the 2024-2025 school year! I am a junior this year and pursuing a degree in Business Marketing with minors in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Being that I grew up in LA county, I have been around sports my whole life and am a dedicated Los Angeles Dodgers and Lakers fan. I also love the Dallas Cowboy and the Mexico National Football Team! My goal is to hopefully work for a professional sports team (preferably one of those mentioned above) as a Marketing or Operations Manager/Executive. I am super excited to document this year for SBI and be a part of the memories that we will get to make together!
Ty Guenther - vp communication
Hi, my name is Ty Guenther and I am beyond excited to represent this club as Vice President of Communications. I am in my third year here at SDSU studying Business Management while minoring in Leadership. I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA being a San Francisco 49ers, LA Kings, and New York Yankees fan. My dream job would be working for any of the teams listed above as an Events and Operations Manager. I cannot wait to use my Management and Leadership skills this year to push SBI to new limits.
Tyler Stevens - vp operations
My name is Tyler Stevens and I am excited for the opportunity to serve as your VP of Operations for the upcoming school year! I am a junior pursuing a degree in Business Management. I am from West Covina, California, and grew up playing basketball. I am a team manager for the Women’s basketball team and my favorite teams are the Boston Celtics and the New York Jets. My dream job would be to work for the Celtics as a general manager. I can’t wait to work with you all and look forward to seeing what we can achieve this year!
Joel Nevarez - vp pro affairs
My name is Joel Nevarez and I will be serving as your Vice President of Professional Affairs for the 2024-2025 school year! SBI has helped me out a ton in my professional development and with getting started in the sports industry so this is my way of giving back and helping you all out in doing the same! Going into the upcoming school year I will be a senior and I am pursuing a degree in Public Relations. I’m from Southeast San Diego so growing up I was a huge fan of all things San Diego as well as Club Tijuana and the Mexican National Team. The world of sports is so large with many different things to do, but as of now my goals would be to work in either Sales, Events, Partnerships, or Marketing. Excited to get started with SBI and see what the year has to offer!
Ethan Walker - cbc representative
I'm Ethan Walker, and I'm very pleased to be representing SBI on the College of Business Council (2024-2025)! As a third-year student majoring in Business Marketing, I am honored with this opportunity to grow and improve this club to the best of my ability. I grew up in Long Beach, California, where I played predominantly baseball as well as other sports such as basketball and tennis. Growing up around sports in my family I became a huge San Francisco Giants fan as well as all other professional bay area teams. My goal in the sports industry is to work for the MLB as a sports marketer. I am very excited to share my passions with students just like myself in order to better our college experience together.
